1 - Reflection on Previous I Search Experiences (due Mon. April 7)
1. What are some of the previous research projects you have done?
We have done the labyrinth project, in this project we researched thee history of labyrinths. We have done the presidential candidate
project were we were assighned a candidate and we researched them. We have also written on each of our Youth Legislature bills.
2. Based on these projects, what does research mean to you?
To me, research means to take a topic and to learn about it through gathering information about it from different sources and to take what we have learned and to peice it together until we fully understand what the topic means.
3. Describe one of your research successes or failures. Why was the experience positive or negative?
When we researched our youth legislature bills I was learning about the dangers of lead in the enviroment. I would gefinetly label it as a success because it not only was sent to Youth Legislature but was passed as a bill. 2 - Reflection on Webbing Process (due Tuesday, April 8)

It helped me find a topic because it allowed me to look at all the things that interested me the most and gave me a better idea about what I wanted to research. 3 - Why I Chose This Topic and What I Know About My Topic (due Tuesday, April 8)

2. Why you chose it:I chose this topic because it is something that we went over in my Spanish class and I think that what we learned about it will be a good base to my research.

1. Describe how the pre-notetaking sheet helped you find both focus for your topic and research questions to investigate. Did you find it easy or difficult to create a fat question from your ideas?
This sheet helped me to put out all of my ideas onto one space.This allowed me to pick out which ones were important. This allowed me to pick a fat question. 6 - Search Log (due Thursday, April 10)
1. What have I learned today?
I have learned that Mexican food is made up of alot of Mexicao's staple products such as beans, chilies, wheat, and many different types of spices.ww
2. What problems have I had?
I was distracted by Mrs, Daquanno lying to me and telling me that I was going to get a detention. I almost cried.
3. How will I overcome the problem(s)?
I will try my best not to let Mrs,. Daquanno get into my head with all of her tricks and pranks.
4. What will I do next?
Next I will research the history of pranks so one day I would be able to get my wonderful social studies teacher back for all the grief she has given me which leads to stress which can potentially lead to a shorter and a more stressful life. Don't even try! I am the best at it, and I have the all powerful red ink pen in my posession!!!!!!

1. What have I learned today?
Today I havelearned that Mexican food is not just a spicy sort of food. It has many different flavors one of them being sweet. They have this sauce called mole sauce which is made from different spices but the main ingridient is chocolate. I also learned of two terms which describe two types of Mexican food in the USA,Tex-Mex, which means Mexican food in Texas, and Cal- Mex, Mexican food in California.I also learned that Mexican food is not only popular in the South, but in the entire United States.
2. What problems have I had?
I havent been able to find the exact date of the first Mexican restraunt in the US only estimates. I also have not yet discovered a prank worthy enough to use against my opponet,MRS DAQUANNO.
3. How will I overcome the problem(s)?
I will try different sources for the date. And for the prank I will have to resort to asking my brother who is the KING OF PRANKS.
4. What will I do next?
I will continue my research in hope that I will eventually have enough information to answer my fat question.

Today I learned about some of the reasons that Americans love Mexican food. Its because of all the flavor and spices that it has. Just a simmple dish contains alot of flavor.
2. What problems have I had?
I still wasnt able to find the date of the first Mexican resteraunt in the United States.
3. How will I overcome the problem(s)?
I will just try different sources.
